Lo-Ma Receives $10000 Monsanto Grant for Greenhouse Project

Monsanto representatives visited Lo-Ma School Sept. 27, and presented the $10K grant check to the school district, prior to Homecoming festivities at the football field. Thanks to the work of Lo-Ma Science Instructor K.C. Kersten and Junior-Senior Principal Christi Gochenour, along with the nomination of several area farmers, Lo-Ma School was recently notified it was the recipient of a $10,000 Monsanto Grant to be used for the district’s Green House Project. Monsanto representatives attended Homecoming Festivities September 27, at the football field and prior to the start of activities presented the $10K grant to the district. The funds will be used to purchase the self-watering tables for the inside of the Greenhouse.
