Activities/Nutrition Fund Coordinator

Reports to:

Superintendent, Building Principals, and Business Manager

Qualifications:

  1. Shall possess good work habits.

  2. Shall possess good written and communication skills.

  3. Shall possess a high school diploma or equivalent program and demonstrate an aptitude for supervisory responsibilities.

  4. Shall be adaptable working around children and staff.

  5. Shall be courteous, personable, and have a cooperative attitude at all times.

  6. Shall have successfully completed required training courses for the performance of the assignment as deemed necessary by the Superintendent/Business Manager.

  7. Shall possess skills requiring use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

  8. Shall possess knowledge of accounting procedures.

  9. Shall possess the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Open safe and take money out daily.

  2. Operate POS system during breakfast (7:45am-8:15am) and lunch (11:45am-1:00pm).

  3. Count money and sort receipts and lunch credits.

  4. Deposit daily lunch receipts.

  5. Order/Stock pop for vending/concessions.

  6. Keep track of all dues paid, fundraisers, tournament fees paid, and book rents paid.

  7. Track and verify distribution of petty cash for activity and nutrition funds.

  8. Prepare and count all cash boxes for events.

  9. Prepare Activity and Kid Care deposits as needed.

  10. File monthly report for lunch reimbursement.

  11. Prepare and file purchase orders. Prepare them for payment when all documents are received.

  12. Enter all receipts in school accounting system.

  13. Prepare monthly lunch report for the school board meeting.

  14. Prepare for annual lunch audit.

  15. Prepare and attend annual student registration.

  16. Responsible for all free/reduced meal applications and yearly verification of the applications.

  17. Provide support to the Activities Director as needed.

Compensation will be based on experience.
